@shoti: hi shoti, thanks for your comment. Yes, this is for real! I shot this with a Nikon F4 with a Tokina 17mm lens using Kodak UC100 film. I happened to be at this lake in Golden Gate Park around sunrise and the lake was misty and fogged over before the sun came out. When the sun rose more, it started burning off the mist to reveal the rays. Thirty seconds later, the mist burned off completely, and this scene was done and gone.
